The “Conservation of Cultural Relics Division” trains maintenance personnel specialized in the conservation of cultural relics on the basis of general education, teaching knowledge about craft techniques, materials and defect formation mechanisms of artifacts, as well as sharing intelligence
on the protection and management of cultural relics, concepts on the division of labor, and scientific analysis. Ethics in collection item restoration is realized through professional exercises.
